Insidious Clothing,
a sparkle in the eye of owner/designer/manager KtB since 2001, was officially founded on June 6, 2006. It has been lurking deep in the underground of heavy metal subculture, and recently surfaced to wreak havoc on the dull, the unsuspecting, and the antiquated.

Mission Statement:
Insidious Clothing is dedicated to providing female metalheads with clothing as indestructible and independent as their lifestyles, and as invaluable as their music collection. Insidious customers not only feel comfortable and confident in custom-tailored garments made from quality materials, but also are given the opportunity to personalize the designs. And all insidious products are made in-house in limited quantity to preserve the integrity of the product while avoiding the exploitation of cheap labor in foreign countries.  Bonus.

“As a child, I was always intrigued by my mom’s cross-stitching, and I demanded to learn as soon as possible. She started me out on printed paper towels, and I advanced in materials until my big sister taught me how to make cloth dolls. This remained a hobby of mine until I was a teenager and I heard Slayer for the first time. Immediately I was hooked on the music, although disheartened by not only the high costs of subculture fashion, but also the poor quality of its mass production. So I got a sewing machine and started making my own clothes. At that time I never dreamed I’d make a career out of it. Now I understand the costs of starting and maintaining a business, although I remain opposed to disposable clothing. Each of my designs is extremely limited, often using recycled materials, in an effort to preserve the uniqueness of the garment and to enhance its artistic value. Thanks for looking, and I hope your visit has been delightfully horrific.”
