Costume Reel

I finally assembled the projects I have been involved with in Los Angeles over the last 3 years into a reel!

There are clips from the two most recent web series that I worked on: Fallout Nuka Break, and The Mad Monster Lab. Those are both linked to my favorite episodes that have come out so far. I see I need to update my link color settings because they’re a bit…ninja…right now.

[tlr] made the (quite appropriate) song a while back. It used to be on my website home page until I switched over to a blog layout. I’m happy there was a reason to breathe life back into it!

Fallout :: Nuka Break costumes interview

I had been working with the guys from Wayside Creations (formerly Backyard Effects) on their new web series Fallout: Nuka Break, which is based on the video game. We recently finished shooting 6 excruciating days in the desert. Here’s a behind the scenes video of questions/answers from some of the crew, first episode goes live August 29th!!! ::

101709 Santiago Art Walk

I had a rack at Kavika Works in the Santiago Art Walk on 10/17, with three totally awesome models creeping around, taping spiders to people and promoting my website.  It was a lot of fun, I can’t wait to see the photos!  Here are some behind the scenes snapshots that tlr took ::

This was one of my customer who bought the Disfiguring the Goddess disfigured goddess dress!  I can see why - it matches her outfit :)

One of my happy customers - she bought the Disfiguring the Goddess disfigured goddess dress!

Here’s a pic of the dress in action at my fashion show, modeled by Alecia Patterson ::

One of my models for the evening, Helen Bui :: she’s also a dancer for band Ming and Ping (I made their babies)!  She has such a great attitude and personality, it was a blast working with her!  She described herself as a walking highlighter, so it was a big difference to be a crazy spider lady for a night!

John (who was the bouncer at my fashion show!) was my photographer for the evening (pictures coming soon, yay!).  He was such a trooper, I was worried about the models’ comfort but never considered all the running around John was doing - so much that his feet were blistered by the end of the night!  Brutal…

Myself and the models all gathered around John’s camera to see the immortalized awesomeness…
