Jaymie is totally awesome and she models for me all the time. Her birthday was last month so I made her a necklace out of a key that I had left over from the job for Monkey Bucket. The key glows in the dark!
A key, feathers, felt, ancient lace, ribbon, and some dumpster fabric
Oh there was some lace fabric too that I gathered and shredded w/ scissors so it blends in w/ the feathers
I painted the key with electric blue nail polish, then in glow in the dark nail polish, then added a bit more glitter to it while it dried

I had my first fashion show for Insidious Clothing on March 26th! tlr planned most of it using help from his broad network of amazing friends. It was about 6 months of planning, and we learned a LOT for what to do differently next time. But at least there were no serious disasters :)

Here are some pictures from an awesome photo shoot with Marianne Williams (Half a Second or Less Photography). This was the promo shoot for the fashion show Delipidate/Decapitate. Joe Holliday was kind enough to let us use his warehouse, which was full of the previous tenant’s old rusty metal film canisters from the ’70s!
My fantastic models included Jaymie Valentine (of the band Cindergarden), and Leema Lee.
I made this dress out of an old Slayer shirt, and a pair of unused striped stockings (among other things).
The spider was painted on by hand
This dress was inspired by Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas
