[tlr] had this ridiculous concept of Pizza Skirt Armor for many, many years…some people told him not to make it a reality, that humans weren’t ready for it. Even I doubted aspects of his concept art. Who could have known that he would totally rock that shit?
The vegetarian pizza skirt and vinyl/velvet/eyeball spiked armor were made from 95% recycled matericals! By recycled I mean the materials were found/donated/saved from certain doom. (tlr is stealthily sporting a Ming & Ping shirt under his armor)
danger awaits your every move when you're in a nvr-ndr o.O
Now this is what artificial flavors should be! Nom nom nom :D
Barry, aka Monkey Bucket, has an awesome record label called Bucketron, and he puts on cool shows at the Cocaine (2nd St. Jazz) in downtown Los Angeles. He always wears a fez covered in knick-knacks, but wanted to separate himself from the shiners which he doesn’t want to be associated with so he asked me to customize a few for him! First I took off all the Shriner crap, then I covered them in recycled fabric, then added supplied pieces of ‘flare’, buttons, more recycled fabrics, and some fabric paint. Here are a couple great shots by Marianne Williams:
I helped with the costumes for the absinthe faerie skits in the “I See London, I See France” show at the Hive gallery in downtown Los Angeles. The costumes consisted of custom skirts and tons of flowers made of fabric and buttons, various corsets, and wings that Jaymie and Ariana made. Makeup was done by RoMak, and photos of course were by Marianne Williams :)

Being an absinthe faerie is pretty fun :) I wish I took out my nose ring though!
I had my first fashion show for Insidious Clothing on March 26th! tlr planned most of it using help from his broad network of amazing friends. It was about 6 months of planning, and we learned a LOT for what to do differently next time. But at least there were no serious disasters :)

Here are some pictures from an awesome photo shoot with Marianne Williams (Half a Second or Less Photography). This was the promo shoot for the fashion show Delipidate/Decapitate. Joe Holliday was kind enough to let us use his warehouse, which was full of the previous tenant’s old rusty metal film canisters from the ’70s!
I make heavy-metal-post-apocalyptic-weirdo-fairy-tale inspired clothing and accessories!
